A bit about Tony...
'Action is Acrylic' is a new collection of work focussing on thrilling extreme sports, painted during the 2020 Lockdown (and some from the 2021 lockdown) initially as a bit of an escape. Tony, a Project Manager from Colchester, traditionally painted commissions and landscapes in oils, but decided to try something new last in lockdown last year. His painting 'Pandemic: no words' was auctioned to raise money for Colchester General, and was selected as runner up for the King Lear Prize.
It is his use of colour, light and exhilarating angles that gives this exhibition its power.
