I make ragdolls using a loved item of clothing/ material that will be a part of either the body or the outfit. I made my first felt animal when I was a young girl and I got so much pleasure in creating something out of a scrap of material, I have been sewing ever since. It was a little mouse which I still have. 

When my children were small I made some of their clothes as money was tight, some of which I still have as they hold some special memories. I make my own patterns so will have a go at making any animal a child requests. I have been set many challenges by my grandchildren and haven't been beaten..... yet!
