Joannie Sandford-Cook

On retirement from teaching a few years ago, I decided to concentrate on my floral and garden work in watercolour and free flowing acrylic ink. This exhibition features this recent work and a few that survived my move to Hingham. 

I have enjoyed painting around Norfolk with Wells plein air art group, and using watercolour sketchbooks on my travels. So in this exhibition I am delighted to share some of my plein air sketchbooks alongside my remaining artwork. 

I studied botanical and natural history at Bournemouth culminating in membership of the Society of Floral Painters. On my move to Norfolk in 2001 I joined numerous societies and taught adults watercolour and acrylic inks techniques.
