Sliding 6ths Riff
Blues guitar playing is defined by certain riffs. This lesson covers an easy blues riff that can be used in a variety of settings. You hear this riff all the time in blues songs like “Soul Man” by the Blues Brothers and so many others. It’s a common blues finger pattern using 6ths combined with 3rds that are slid from the 5th up to the 6th scale step over any major chord in a blues setting.
This lesson covers…
• Sliding 6ths Riff
• 2 Note & 3 Note Version
