Adam Stark, from The Kicks, shows you how to play “American Woman” by Lenny Kravitz. “American Woman” was originally written and recorded by Canadian rock band, The Guess Who, and first released in 1970. Lenny Kravitz covered "American Woman" for the soundtrack to Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. Kravitz put his own twist on the song, giving it a slightly different groove, but maintaining that classic rock guitar tone.

Adam Stark is a blues/rock based guitar player born and raised in Nashville, TN. His love for rock 'n roll of the 60's and 70's has shaped his style towards that of Jimmy Page, Billy Gibbons, Jimi Hendrix, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. His experience in the music industry has included years of touring for country, rock, and Christian acts, studio sessions, and running his own music lessons business. He is currently the lead guitar player and songwriter for the Nashville-based rock band, The Kicks.
