Hey Jealousy

Adam Stark, from The Kicks, rocks out on the 90’s hit song, “Hey Jealousy,” by the Gin Blossoms. The song was originally released on the group's debut album, Dusted, which released in 1989. Then, it was re-recorded for their breakthrough 1992 album, New Miserable Experience.

Written by lead guitarist, Doug Hopkins, who was fired from the band shortly after the recording of the second album, It became their first Billboard Top-40 single. In 1993, it reached number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 24 on the UK Singles Chart. Lets check out how to play this song.

Adam Stark is a blues/rock based guitar player born and raised in Nashville, TN. His love for rock 'n roll of the 60's and 70's has shaped his style towards that of Jimmy Page, Billy Gibbons, Jimi Hendrix, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. His experience in the music industry has included years of touring for country, rock, and Christian acts, studio sessions, and running his own music lessons business. He is currently the lead guitar player and songwriter for the Nashville-based rock band, The Kicks.
