Drive By

Drive By

Jordan Phillips, The Kicks, teaches the pop rock hit, “Drive By,” by Train. “Drive By” is Train’s 3rd top 10 hit and was released in January of 2012 on their 6th studio album entitled, California 37.

This song went top 10 in 13 countries and helped Train sell over 2 million copies of their album. It features a nice blend of acoustic rhythms and chord changes so you will be able to have some fun with this one.

Jordan plays a Gibson Acoustic Hummingbird in the lesson.

Jordan Phillips was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He picked up a guitar when he was 10 years old. Since then he has been writing, recording, and touring playing rock and roll music. In 2004, he relocated to Nashville, TN where he is now the lead singer and guitar player in the pop/rock band The Kicks. The Kicks have recorded 2 albums (with their 3rd releasing in September 2012) and have spent the past 4 years in North America and Central America, touring and opening for the likes of John Mayer, Los Lonely Boys, Rooney, and Hot Chelle Rae.
