GMA allows for a variety of options in creating multiple choice questions, including the ability to add images, videos and student reflection prompts, among other features. See below for how to edit and add options in multiple choice.
After adding a new Multiple Choice task, you can type in your question in the box under the line “Multiple Choice Question”.
You can also modify text by using the left side buttons of the control bar. For text size, there are 4 different options: Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3, and Normal. You can also bold and italicize text.
To add answer options for your students, you can start by filling in the readily available boxes for option A and B, under the “Multiple Choice Options” line.
Once you’ve filled the boxes of A and B option, you can add more answer options by selecting the “ADD OPTION” button. New box for options will be added at the bottom. You can add several possible options.
To select the correct answer, click the checkbox in the “Correct” row on the far right. The option that you chose to be correct will be the one your students have to pick for a correct answer.
Click Done when you’re finished. The multiple choice task as a whole will be updated to include the reflection prompt.
Reflection prompts are great for gaining a better insight of the student’s understanding and progress. Including prompts to Multiple Choice tasks can also help students reflect on the questions asked and the answers they gave.
