Scrubbing is a tool that allows you or your students to change the value of any number in the Canvas by clicking on the number and using a sliding motion via mouse or trackpad. Scrubbing is especially useful for when you want students to see the incremental changes in math expressions.
To scrub any number, select the “Scrub” button on the tool tab, then a pair of arrows will appear on top and under any number that can be scrubbed.
To increase the value, click on the number you wish to change, click on your mouse / mousepad, hold and scroll up.
To decrease the value, click on the number you wish to change, click on your mouse / mousepad, hold and scroll down
