Select the “Insert” button on the toolbar, and select Geometry.
A graph box will show up on your Canvas. Click on the Algebra button (calculator icon).
Select the Input box and type in the desired expression. You can also click on the keyboard logo in the bottom left of the graph box to get access to more algebraic symbols.
Once you have inserted the desired graph equation in the input box, a corresponding 2D graph will appear in the graphing space to the right. You can click and drag your mouse to move the 2D graph around and change its placement.
Tools provides a number of geometrical presets that you can insert directly into the canvas. This is different from the Algebra tool, where you have to write out the algebraic equation to get a geometrical shape.
Select the “Insert” button on the toolbar, and select Geometry
A graph box will show up on your Canvas. Click on the Tools button (circle and triangle icon).
To add a point on the graphing space, select Point, then click on the blank graphing area. A point will be displayed at the area you’ve clicked.
To add a segment on the graphing space, select Segment.
Click on a point on the blank graphing area where you want your segment to begin, then drag your mouse to the point where you want your segment to end. A segment will be displayed based on your dragging motion.
To add a line on the graphing space, select Line.
Click on a point on the blank graphing area where you want a point on your line to be, then move your mouse around to see the line passing that point moving in different directions. Once you’ve moved the line in the desired direction, click on another point on the line to solidify the line on the graphing space.
To add a polygon on the graphing space, select Polygon.
Click on a point on the blank graphing area where you want a point on your polygon to be, then drag your mouse to the next point of your polygon, then click again. Repeat this until the desired shape is achieved by clicking the initial point to draw the final side.
To add a circle on the graphing space, select Circle with Center.
Click on a point on the blank graphing area where you want the center of the circle to be, then drag your mouse further or closer to the center to adjust the diameter of the circle. When desired shape is achieved, click anywhere on the circle’s circumference to solidify the shape.
You can move any object on the graphing space by selecting Move, clicking on the desired object, then moving it to the desired placement.
