Keypad Mode

The keypad allows you to modify existing math expressions. Using the keypad, you can type in any changes to the expression, from changing the coefficient of a variable to changing its exponent.

Changing a term using the keypad

Step 1:

Select the “Keyboard” button on the top left of the page, then select the term you want to modify.

Step 2:

On the keypad, type in the new term you want to replace the highlighted term, and click “Done” twice to confirm the change. The old term will be modified into your desired new term.

Changing part of a term using the keypad

Step 1:

Select the “Keyboard” button on the top left of the page, then select the section of a term you want to modify. In the example below, we are showing you how to modify the exponent part within a term.

Step 2:

On the keypad, make the desired change, and click “Done” twice. The old exponent will be replaced with the new exponent.
