To insert an image/gif to your Multimedia task, select the picture frame icon on the toolbar. Your computer file manager will auto open. Select and load the image/gif you would like to include in the Multimedia window.
After the image/gif is loaded, you can adjust its alignment on the page by clicking on the top three squares. You can also adjust the image size by sliding the corners of the image.
You can also add a YouTube video to your activity using the Multimedia task. This is a very good way to share resources with your student, or provide them with instructions on using GMA.
Please feel free to visit our YouTube channel Graspable Stache for plenty of videos and resources on GMA content, instructions and gestures!
Go to the YouTube video you want to link and copy the URL.
After copying a YouTube link, create or edit a Multimedia task. Click the video icon in the Multimedia control bar.
A text box will pop up, where you can paste the link. Select “Save” once you’re done, then the video will be loaded onto your Multimedia task.
When the session is shared with students, they will be able to play the YouTube video directly on GMA.
