The Transform mode in Canvas is a critical function to know! This mode allows you and your students to manipulate equations to mathematically transform expressions. In this mode, you can also show the history of the problem transformations or replicate an equation.
To use this mode, select the “Transform” button on the top left corner of the toolbar.
In Transform mode, you can click and drag terms in order to solve math equations.
After you solved a math equation on Canvas, you can see the history of all of your transformations by dragging down the circle next to your final equation.
If there are two stacked circles shown next to an equation, that means there are more steps that can be shown.
In order to replicate an equation, drag the circle next to the equation to the area of the canvas you would want to place the replica.
