Below is an overview of what students see when they reach a Line It Up task:
Students can scrub any coefficient with arrows on top and bottom. If a formula does not have any arrows, that means it is a set option and cannot be scrubbed or changed.
To scrub a number, students will click on the number and use their trackpad or mouse to scroll upward to increase the value of the coefficient, or downward to decrease the value.
In our example (right), the number 3.6 can be scrubbed downward to 1.9.
Once their formula has matched the formula of the original graph, their workspace will be highlighted green.
