HOW TO PLAY THE SAMURAIS/NOMADS BEST

Which camps to hit

The first decision you should be making once you have maxed all 4 of the camps is how many of the camps you are going to hit, there are three main options here:

1. Hit all 4 camps that are available to hit, this is the easiest way to do it if you have enough ranged troops, as it is easy to pay attention to which camps have spy reps, etc. and when you need to skip the camp's cooldown, etc. as the armies just return to the same one.

2. Another option which is more efficient overall is to hit the camp that is most efficient for troops and tools with all of your armies at once, skipping the cooldown before the next one lands, this is trickier, as you have to co-ordinate sending the next hit after you have got rid of the cooldown from a previous hit, it works best with Option E on how to hit the camps, as you don't have to spy them every time.

3.The final option is to skip any of the camps that are obviously inefficient to hit, but hit all of the others, potentially adding multiple hits on some of the camps.

Techniques for hitting the camps

There are five options on how to hit them, and it depends on how many iron mantlets you have or are willing to buy, and how many wooden mantlets you have or are willing to buy from armourer, also how much of a risk you want to take.

Autofill

This is the easiest and most fast paced way of doing samurais or nomads, and often is the way I do it, but it costs a lot more in iron mantlets, you need to move all siege towers/belfries/heavy rams/iron rams and all shield walls out of the castle, and then all you have to do is press autofill. Some tips when autofilling: always make sure you have got a 100% accurate spy rep on the target, and that you have plenty of ranged troops, otherwise the autofill will send melee troops, leading to a massacre... It is also vital you make sure you have enough iron mantlets, as if you miss out the mantlets, again, it can be a massacre.

Fill in by hand

This is much longer, but much more economic, you can use only the iron mantlets that are needed, but as I say, it does take a lot longer, and majorly eats into your boost time when you add up the time difference, it also opens you up to human error, but it also means you can spot mistakes instantly hopefully :p

Autofilling and Handling

Is a combination of the two above, you autofill, but replace the iron mantlets that aren't needed with wooden mantlets, this uses the best of both options, but is slower than the plain autofill, and can start off slower than option B even. The other problem with option C is it can put too many ladders on the flank/front, so you can't put enough mantlets on, which leads the option to take even more time than option B.

2 and not 3

You fill in the attack by hand again, but you only hit two flanks; the gate and the flank with the most ranged troops on it, this does mean that you will probably have to throw a wave of melee troops in behind the first wave at some point. This allows you to be more economical in terms of tools, but it does make you a lot slower if you have a boost running out!

Presetting

This is a slightly risky one, as sometimes the camps change their setups, but, once your camps have been maxed you can create a preset for the camp(s) you are hitting, with the right amount of each tool, whichever tactic in terms of flanks you are using, etc. and save it, reusing it every time. This is the perfect option in my opinion - if you are willing to take the risk of potentially losing an army if the setup changes unfavourably; be sure to check each rep for absurd losses.
