Long Nobility Contests

LONG NOBILITY EVENT

So, the place people go wrong with the long event is that they rush into it, it is wasteful, and leads you ending up in a worse position than you could have been if you were patient. The initial set of prizes can be completed easily, all in one day, probably in less than 5 hours, it may not sound simple, but it is.

You need to be patient with your use of the initial 100% booster, found at 42 points in the long term event, you have to save this for the samurai event, or the nomads, but if using the tactics above, you should save it for the samurai event, as this is where you will be sending the most hits out in a short space of time, with the fewest losses. Whatever you do, save the first 100% booster for when you are doing all of your hits on the samurais, if you think you are getting close, stop hitting whatever event you are in, and concentrate on towers and recruiting until you get to the samurais. The optimum time to hit the boost is any time under 24 hours from the end of the event, as this way you will include all of your troop purchases at the end of the samurais. Once the boost has been activated you need to hit samurais constantly, you should be able to get 276 hits on the samurais done in this time, 241 from the skips you have saved for the samurais and 35 from the skips you gain from the long term events, this will give you 1,104 points alone, then, the purchasing of samurai troops will give you 396 more points, and so you will end the samurais 225 points into the second level of the long term event, ready to keep going and smash some FIs, this gives you a great head start against others, and will set you up very well for finishing in the top 10 of the long term event.

I will explain below the best tactics for each of the events if you are focussing on the long term event rather than concentrating on the current event.

Samurais

If you don't have a samurai token booster active, you should use no more and no less than 3 token boosters, this will put you just over the threshold for 2 points when you have your camp maxed. When buying things, obviously try and get them as close over the 1000 token mark as you can, equipment is a bad thing to buy when you have a long term event booster active, it is much better spending on decorations or tools/troops.

Foreign Invaders

You should keep trying to hit as many Foreign invaders as you can, 6 points for 10k glory is great, and makes hitting smaller ones with a few more banners worthwhile, so consider using some 2%/3% banners on some of your smaller hits, just to get over into the 6 points a hit section, which is very juicy :p

Nomads

If you don't have a nomad token booster active, you should use no more and no less than 3 token boosters, this will put you just over the threshold for 2 points when you have your camp maxed. When buying things, obviously try and get them as close over the 1000 token mark as you can, equipment is a bad thing to buy when you have a booster active, it is much better spending on decorations or tools/troops.

Berimond invasion

The Berimond invasion is the trickiest to work out how to hit most effectively for the long term event, but once you get in the swing of it, it becomes relatively simple.

You need to start by hitting various camps, noting their level and how many gallantry points they give you, you then need to work out what percentage difference there is between the points it is giving you and the points needed for the long term event, so say I was getting 500 gallantry points from a camp, and my target is 650, I would do (650/500 = 1.3) this would mean that I am 30% off the required amount, so I need to add 15 2% chests, I usually add 2 more chests to account for the variance in gallantry, so I would send 17 chests. You need to do this for each level in each colour, and note down what you need to send for each one, and then you can start sending them and getting the max points from the Berimond Invasion.
