🎯Prepare for the speaking test

You are going to show the skills that you have learned during NEWS FLASH by taking a spoken test

Your group will have 15 minutes to complete the test and you can be up to 3 students.

The test will be divided into two parts: part 1 and part 2

Part 1: Present & interact

Before taking the test, you will need to research a news item and prepare to talk about it. 

You will need to be able to:

• describe it

• explain if we can trust it and not

• motivate why

• and actively participate in a discussion with your classmate(s)

You are allowed to bring notes (but not to read your entire presentation from them).

Part 2: discuss & interact

For part 2, you will be given different topics to look at:

• The topics are related to news, fake news and related topics

• Together with your classmate(s), choose at least two each that you want to discuss

• You will have questions to get your discussion going (you could add ideas of your own as well, of course)

• You cannot be prepared for part 2 and you will be shown the topics only during the test
