TikTok Style Bundles
TikTok Style Bundles
TikTok is a major force in this social media age getting content from all over the world for its viewers. Obviously, a topic that excels in any social media is fashion. There are many different ways to shop for the things you want. Facebook Marketplace, IG's shopping tab, and even TikTok has their own shop for people to sell things on. All of those are sketchy in their own way of course, but people still buy from them because it's another way to buy directly from the store.
Thrifting is also another popular way to shop for clothes, especially among Gen Z like myself. With TikTok being as popular as it is, our fashion choices make it on there as well. Something that's becoming increasingly popular is the style bundles. It's basically where one person gives the type of vibe they want from thrifted clothes, or clothes in general, and the creator finds the clothes that fit the vibe. This takes much of the stress out of finding clothes, especially in thrift stores with crowded racks to the point where you can't see anything even if you push them out the way. I think this is a very creative way to shop because it leaves you to basically create a Pinterest mood board of your desired style and someone else combs through the depths of the world to find the fashion you want. The best thing about it is that it can cost starting around $100.
Another great thing that was mentioned is that it's a chance to try new styles you would've never thought to try in the first place. Rizvic, the author, realized that she was missing essential things in her personal wardrobe like a sleeveless mock neck top or a long scarf in muted tones. It gave her a new sense of personal style. She may even go look for those things in different colors. I mean, that's what I did with tank tops and leggings. I still need the pink flared leggings off of SHEIN, but that'll be a next Sunday problem because they always have free shipping on Sundays. I just hope they're not see-through, because you know, stuff from websites like these aren't usually the best quality unless it's like a hoodie or sweater.
Someone who currently does bundles, Lubinic, recalls working with someone who had similar measurements and was happy about it. They're both curvy from what I hear. “When she received her bundle, I got great feedback from her that she loved all of the pieces,” she says. “That makes me so happy: boosting someone’s confidence in their body, because I know firsthand how that feels.”-Lubinic 2023. That's another thing I love about this. In the endless sea of people on Tiktok, you're bound to find someone with similar measurements. It really puts into perspective like how diverse the internet really is along with the styles.
