Understanding Cabinet Coding:
Cabinet codes use standardized shorthand to identify cabinet types, dimensions, and placements. This system, based on industry conventions NKAB (naaws), uses a combination of abbreviations and numerical units, following this structure:
Type Prefix: Letter identifying cabinet type (base, vanity, tall, or wall).
Width: Measurement from left to right side of cabinet.
Height: Measurement from bottom to top (excluding kicks or mouldings).
Depth: Measurement from front face to back.
Modifiers: Optional codes indicating variations (e.g., hinge side), separated by a hyphen if used.
Measurements are rounded to the nearest inch and typically use imperial units.
