AKA with Non-Chinese Students

It is a prime opportunity for us to teach the Non - Chinese students in Aberdeen Kai-Fong Welfare Association Services Centre (AKA). We had five fruitful weeks at AKA as we exposed to the ethic minority’s cultures and broaden our understanding of the world.

We can deeply understand the learning difficulties of NCS students while offering them homework support. We therefore arrange various activities to consolidate their knowledge and arouse their interest in learning Chinese.

Spending a month with the children is a cherished and memorable experience, it will be a a lifelong lesson in our educational career.

Chinese Character Matching Wheels

AKA(NCS)部首教具.docx

Rotate the components (phonetic part) and combine it with the radical (semantic part) to form a Chinese character.

With the basic skills obtained, students may use the ideographic function of Chinese characters to integrate character recognising, writing and memorising.
