2021-21 Community Projects

It is exciting that HKU and all organizations we work together with have resumed face-to-face operation in 2021. Although having the masks on, I  still feel the passion from each student who devoted so much to their experiential learning. This year we had the opportunity once again to work with St. Luke Elderly Center to serve the elderly. It's so touching to see our students interacting with the elderly with games and songs. Meanwhile, the Book-recycling Team hosted two successful online book fairs for the public. AKA team developed some brillion Mandarin and English lessons for children in the community center. The students who worked with the Books and Beyond Reading club brought laughter and excitement into local schools. All students have also created impressive products that successfully link to their teaching careers. This year, I feel a strong passion from all students devoted to all the community projects and I am so touched and proud of each of them!
