Creating a Flight Log with Google Forms and Sheets

Make a Copy!

• Rename File

• Change save location to your own Google Drive

• Make Copy

It should look like this . . .

Here you can edit any of the responses.  Such as if you fly a drone that is not listed, you can add it.

Click the Add Option to Add a new choice.

Fly a course and fill out the form.

Click the 'Eyeball' to open the form preview.

• Open Reponses

• Open Google Sheets

It should look something like this.

Create a new sheet.

Rename the new sheet "Flight Log" & drag the sheet to the left.

Press {ctrl} + {shft} + {v}  

This will paste the row titles with out formatting.

It should look like this . . .    "No Formatting"

Change the formatting to make the 'Flight Log' look good.

• Center Text

• Change Font Size

• Change Font Color

• Change Cell Color (Background)

• Change Wrapping to Wrap

It should look something like this:

Align the text to the middle of the cell.

Select cell A2 and type "="

• Switch to the Form Responses Sheet

• Select cell A2 and hit {Enter}

Repeat and select for the corresponding  cell, skipping email.

It should look like this,  now adjust cell widths to fit content.
