Serolid

The moment I saw a picture of one of these things, I was immediately drawn to it as a design subject due to its awesome appearance and complicated structure. It uses a base with a split axis, like my Giant Isopod (this Serolid is also an isopod), but turned out to be much more difficult.

Paper used: A single un-cut square of mulberry tissue paper treated with methyl cellulose.
