Dahlia

I wanted to make a variation of my previous Torch Ginger design, and this Dahlia is just that. I used a series of in and out open sinks to create the pattern in the middle, but they are not staggered upward the way they were to create the Torch Ginger's textured central dome. The number of petals made this one more complicated and more difficult to fold.

Paper used: A single un-cut square of triple-layer tissue paper treated with methyl cellulose.
