Aphantochilus Rogersi

This Ant-mimicking Crab Spider has been on my list for awhile and I finally got around to designing one. What I thought would be a relatively straightforward model turned out to be more difficult to shape that I thought it would be. Even though it was ok for the legs to be a bit thicker for this one than for most of the insects or arachnids I design, the body accumulated a lot of layers and it was a challenge to get all the features to stay where they should and to pleat the abdomen in order to further compress the one little section that was supposed to be significantly thinner than the rest.
