Queen of the Night

When I decided to design this flower, I knew that the biggest challenge would be to get the strands of the stigma to be thin - I wanted them to be located on the edges of the paper to achieve that thinness, yet they needed to end up on the inside of the folded model. In order to accomplish this, those strands are actually split into four groups of four that are located along the edges near the corners, then these four groups meet in the middle once the base is collapsed and appear to be one single stigma.
