I was happy with my Gryphon's wings but less so with the overall result - when it was pointed out that I could make a Phoenix using a design very similar to my Gryphon, I took this suggestion because I liked the idea of making something different with similar wings. I changed the hind-quarters into a tail by staggering flaps asymmetrically in order to enhance the fiery look - that tail, the claws, and the overall appearance make this a result I am much happier with than the Gryphon.
