Blue Button

While in South Padre last summer, we found these floating in the ocean - this was strange since we go there every summer and never saw anything like this. I thought it might be a type of jellyfish, but they are actually colony organisms like a Portuguese Man O' War. This video I took shows how they extend their tentacles in the sunlight then retract them while under the shade of my hand.
