This model represents my second design - after collapsing the original base, I realized that not only were the flaps poorly arranged but I had not given myself enough extra paper to properly shape the prominent bulbous features, which are the most distinguishing characteristic of this insect. It turned out for the best, however - not only does this crease pattern fix those issues, but it is more efficient and elegant as well since it contains no extra flaps and the layered thicknesses are in more appropriate locations.
