Aim: This task reviews the structure and staging of WhatsApp live lessons
Time: 20-25 minutes
In this task we will take the WA live lesson from Module 4 as our model. We will look at the stages in this lesson and consider how they are sequenced and how they are represented in the lesson script. Click on the link if you want to see the whole script for WA live lesson 4.5 again.
There are two parts to this task.
Look at the lesson stages in the list below. Put them in the correct order to reflect the stages in the WhatsApp live lesson you attended in Module 4.
In this task you are going to look at some extracts from the WhatsApp live lesson script for the lesson you attended in Module 4.. Match the extracts from the lesson script on the right to the correct stage from the list on the left.
When planning a WhatsApp lesson the starting point is the same as any other lesson. We start with our learners, their needs and the learning outcomes we're aiming for. But there are also important differences. WhatsApp lessons need careful, detailed planning for each stage and we need to remember that we will probably only be able to cover two main tasks in any one lesson.
