In Modules 2 & 3, we considered the differences between asynchronous and synchronous online teaching. In this module we explore blended learning, another key concept related to online learning. How much do you already know about blended learning? Read the text describing blended learning in the two slideshows below. As you read, answer the questions, and/or drag the words into the correct places.
You can blend learning in different ways depending on your learners’ needs and context, and on your needs, expertise and resources. You may choose to blend learning for a specific activity, for a whole term or course, or for an entire school programme. What is important is finding the right mix or blend that serves you and your learners’ needs.
