The station goods yard was expanded during this year and a loading platform added, the remnants of which remain today where the replica cattle dock now stands; this original extended into what is now the patrons car park, being shortened in 1993 to create additional parking.

As a one-off order from Beyer, Peacock & Co., of Gorton Foundry in Manchester, No.13 Kissack was delivered, the third locomotive to bear the name of a Railway Company official, in this case director Edward Thomas Kissack.  It remains part of the active service fleet today.

"Pairs" carriages F.61, F.63 F.65, F.66 were created in this year using the ex-four-wheel carriage bodies from 1873 stock, with the fleet number being applied later upon completion of the scheme in 1926.

Bolster wagons were built and allocated the fleet numbering L.5 & L.6

Four-wheel brake van E.4 was withdrawn and the body moved to Sulby Bridge Station seeing used as a grounded store.  Fish Wagon No.4 was created by re-using the underframes from this brake van/

Former Manx Northern Railway brake van Er.10 was withdrawn and the body going on to be used as a permanent way store.
