Delivery was taken of a further batch of four half-brake carriages, F.40, F.41 and F.42 which were supplied from the Metropolitan Carriage & Wagon Co., of Saltley Works in Birmingham, similar to the previous carriages F.33 and F.34 and later joined the following year by F.43 and F.44 and later by F.49 in 1926.
