Cowboy Pinto Beans (Pam Furlong)
2 cups dry pinto beans
1 chopped yellow onion
1 stick butter
1 ground chipotle chili
Salt & pepper to taste
Rinse pintos in strainer
Put in crock pot:
Rinsed beans, onion, butter
Optional: Two cans stewed tomatoes
Water - Fill 1 inch from top
Cook on high 8-10 hours
