CORN CASSEROLE

1 – can whole kernel corn

1 – can creamed corn

1 – box of Jiffy Corn Meal

8 oz. of sour cream

1 – stick of butter

In a small casserole dish melt butter first so that it can mix better.

Then mix everything else in thoroughly.

Then put it in the oven at (350 degrees for 1 hr. for a gas oven} now for an electric oven I put it in at 400 degrees for about 30 to 35 min – but what you need to do is check after a ½ hour with a fork or knife in the middle to see if it is pretty solid – if not – leave it in a little while longer.

If you want to make more than that, just double everything and put it in a bigger dish like a 13” x 9”.

Another variation is to put a can of Ortega chilies in the mixture or if you prefer chop up your own chilies.
