Scribble Synth

Scribble Synth by Electronic Cow was released in 1998. Following on from Snippit Synth, it is a sound generator developed for all TOS computers. It allows the creation of your own sounds, literally creating your own 8 or 16-bit sounds using additive synthesis to add sine waves together. Unlike Snippit Synth a sound, or scribble, can be drawn and edited and then saved in its native SCR file format. Similarly sounds can be exported as an AVR, AIFF or SPL sample file up to a sample rate of 50 kHz. Sounds can also be dumped to your external sampler via MIDI using Akai S900 / S950 standards, or MIDI SDS.
