Mouse Music
Mouse Music was announced by Eidersoft in '88. It is a cartridge based 4 / 8 channel sampler and sequencer which is capable of of 8-bit stereo sampling of up to 44.1 kHz. Also due on the Amiga, the software can be held in ROM on the cartridge, and launched when the ST boots to the desktop. Although it is an 8-bit sampler, it can output at 12-bit. As it was of interest, I have acquired a Mouse Music cartridge which on face value appears to be a prototype with Mouse Music 1.0 held in ROM. I don't recall ever seeing this for sale in the UK, and don't remember any advertisements for this sampler, so I am unclear if this was ever officially released, as the couple of references I have located hark back to the Personal Computer Show at Earls Court, London in September 1988!? Does anyone remembers this?
