D2D Edit

D2D Edit was released in 1993 by D2D Systems, and was an early D2D recorder for the Atari Falcon.  The comparisons to the software which accompanies the ADAS-ST are clearly evident, it is without doubt a continuation, and in essence is ADAS-ST but for the Falcon.  D2D Edit appears a more versatile Falcon D2D, allowing for stereo sampling and more sample editing options using the Falcon's internal DSP, or via one of the external digital extensions available for the Falcon, such as D2D Systems own allusive SPDIO, or the often forgotten A/D64x by Singular Solutions.  Like Falcon D2D, D2D Edit is capable of 16-bit sampling up to a frequency of 50 kHz.  It was a standalone product, but also came bundled with 4T/FX, a 4 track D2D multitrack, the earliest affordable commercial D2D multitrack software for the Atari Falcon, just pre-dating Cubase Audio for the Falcon.
