ADAS-ST

ADAS-ST was released in 1991 by Plasmec Systems. The ADAS itself was a DSP and D2D recorder for the Atari ST. It was a system designed by D2D Systems of Michael Lynch fame, who was responsible for the Lynex, Falcon D2D and D2D-Edit amongst others, and was also available for both PC and Mac. The DSP unit for the ST comprises of a stereo 1/4" out, a stereo 1/4" in, as well as digital SPDIF digital in and out. It has some nice non-destructive editing features, which is quite unique on the TOS platform, but arguably a trait of D2D Systems. A nice feature of the ADAS is that it incorporates audio scrubbing. It is capable of sampling frequencies of 44.1 and 48 kHz respectively, at 16-bit connecting via the ACSI port of the ST.
