General motivational beliefs = its a general belief, e.g "what motivates you when studying chemistry",
Situational self reports = its more specified, e.g "how do you think you will succed in this task", referring to a specific situation, moment
-> Stimulated recall interview = its a method where a stimulus is given before asking questions e.g a student watches a video of themselves doing a task and then questions are asked upon that
