What is entrepreneurial competence?
Why are next generation entrepr. are different?
In the inceptive phase of business what is most important is creativity, having ideas, strategies
Being flexible and having interdisciplinary competencies (adjust your ideas depending on the context) were most sought about in entrepreneurship.
So its not about polishing your ideas too much but compromise your ideas a little bit and taking risks.
Cognitive component of entrepreneuship: Putting emphasis on cognition (factual knowledge about business) may limit conative (motivation) and affective (emotions) components of business. , which is concerning because people tend to separate emotions from learning. Emotions cannot be separated from learning. Emotions are an intrinsic part of learning.
Observation: Is education fulfilling the entrepreneurial needs? No.
What policies, pedaogiies, curricula, learning environment so that learners can achieve the max of their capabilities

Building an entrepreneurship ecosystem is very important
Just learning about business skills might demotivate students
The focus for teaching business skills should be on:
practical skills: prepare students for challenges e.g hands-on projects
psychological traits: self-efficacy, confidence
teamwork: start business in team
For entrepreneurial teams:
The team only is not enough.
Team development is really important, lack of connection might need to failure

Importance of Self-Reflection
Building resilience
Critical Thinking
Learning from Experience
Reflection in Action = while doing the task
Reflection on Action = after a task has been completed and the person things what went wrong and how they could improve it in the future
Critical Reflection = Why do I think this? Why is this my belief? Does it need to change or not?
The author gave some solutions in the form of digital tools to address self-reflection challenges:
Guided templates
Safe Online Spaces: you can write your reflections anonymously and not face-to-face
Simulations and E-commerce project
So, digitization helps in hands-on practice.
