Step 1: Get a domain name and URL

It's important to choose a good domain name. It affects:

Expand all

Understand domain names and URLs

Keep it consistent with your brand

Make it easy to remember

Check the availability of social handles and domain names

Decide on a domain name extension

Buy your domain name

Remember to renew

Set up a reminder to renew your domain names and security certificates on time.

Step 2: Set up an email address to match your domain name

You can use free email services for your business, but using one that matches your domain (and business) name, creates a more professional impression.

For example, your domain-name email will display as info@mybusiness.com, instead of mybusiness@gmail.com.

The service provider who registers your domain name, or your web hosting company, may provide an email service or include it as a paid add-on.

Step 3: Find a web hosting company

For your website to be published and accessible on the internet, it has to be hosted by a web hosting company. These companies provide you with a secure space on their server to store all your website content.

You can host your website with the same company you register your domain name with, or you can choose a different host if this meets your business needs better.

Monthly fees for web hosting can vary depending on how big your website is and how many visits you get.

Step 4: Design your website

When designing your website, think about:

Structure the site to make it easy for them to find and do the things they need. It might help to look at websites of businesses like yours to see how they've designed their site and what features they've added.

A well-designed and easy-to-use website will help your business stand out.

An easy way to understand what you may need for your website is to draw up a visual site map.

Typically, you'd want a page dedicated to each product range or critical service you offer.

Step 5: Build your website

When deciding how to build your website, consider how it will be maintained and how easy it will be to make changes. You might need to make regular changes to the content on your website, for example:

Building your website can be a do-it-yourself (DIY) or do-it-for-me (DIFM) project. You can create your business website by:

Considering the advantages and disadvantages of each option will help you decide which one will work best for you.

Using a templated website-builder platform (DIY)

Using a CMS to build a customised website (DIY/DIFM)

Remember mobile devices

Your website should display correctly on smart phones and other mobile devices.

Step 6: Add and manage your website content

Once you've worked out what content you want on your website, you'll need to create or buy the content.

Website content includes things like:

Having relevant and professional content and images will help customers understand your products and services and make them feel comfortable about doing business with you.

Just as you might hire a professional to design your site or make a video, you might also want to consider hiring a professional to create images or write and structure your content.

Adding images and videos

Images and videos can help:

Photos of your actual products or services are best, but you can supplement this with stock photography and graphics.

Writing website content

The wording on your website provides customers with the information they need to understand your business, what you offer, and how to access it.

People read differently online, so make sure content is easy to read and understand. To do this:

Managing and updating content

It's important to keep your website content up to date. You should, for example, always make sure that changes to opening hours and prices are reflected on your website.

New website content, like events, sales and seasonal product promotions, also:

You should:

☐ After the website has been built, who provides you with support? (Is it based locally or overseas? Are there extra charges involved? How responsive will they be to support requests from you?)

☐ Can you edit and change the website yourself? (e.g. using a Content Management System)

☐ Can the website be viewed on all types of devices? (e.g. is it responsive for mobile phone screens?)

The website function checklist suggests elements your website may not yet include. Use the checklist as a guide for improvements or as a plan for future development.

Save the website function checklist (DOCX, 103KB) to review where you could improve.

Step 7: Publish your website

Once your site is ready, it will need to be published or made live so it can be found by customers using your domain name.

It can take a day or two for your website to go live across the internet (a process known as propagating). Take this into account if you've scheduled your website release to coincide with other opening activities.

WordPress Tutorial: Full Course for Beginners in 2023 (Step By Step)

ENTIRE TRANSCRIPT

so you want to create a profitable WordPress site that makes you money so in this video I'm going to cover exactly how to set it up from web hosting to creating posts and Pages all the settings all the plugins how to monetize it with affiliate links and how to start making money so let's get right into it this is going to be a full WordPress tutorial on how to create a money making website in 2023 but first we have to talk about why WordPress well really it's about the Endless Options and functionality so it's open source you know it's been updated for about 20 years now or plus and you can customize everything to your liking so it's always being updated improved upon it's free so all you need is web hosting and then you can use wordpress.org for free all you need is the hosting it's a powerful CMS there's lots of different content you know I don't see many Wix or Squarespace size ranking in the top 10 for a lot of competitive stuff it's always WordPress sites that are doing the best it's built for good SEO there's tons of extensions and things that you can easily get Google Search console and analytics set up with it's easy to customize and use it's not difficult and there's lots of really good free and paid options for themes so you can drag and drop stuff in WordPress you can add plugins to you know create all kinds of different pieces of content on your site so WordPress is good enough for the big guys so it's good enough for you and me you know there's major media and Tech sites use WordPress we kind of just need to bury the debate just get started with it and you're good to go so we're gonna go through the 10 major steps to create a money making website from domain and hosting to installing WordPress your themes plugins and everything else and how to make money with it so let's get right into it so first we have to talk about picking your domain so you can use a site like GoDaddy to pick a domain name or you can just get one from your web host as you sign up for web hosting so you can do either one now this is important if you want to make money with a website what do you call yourself what Niche do you choose well in my you know coaching program blog growth engine we take you through the exact steps of choosing your Niche based on your expertise your experience actually affiliate opportunities in the marketplace we want to start a little bit broader with the name because we don't want to pigeonhole ourselves so we want to start with something like your name or variation of your name or like my site's adamandfroy.com I make 100 000 a month with affiliate marketing just for my name I could have made it like Adam advice.com or adamsguide.com if I wanted to you know make it easier to sell or all of these different things but really you want to start with a broader name that you can hone in on over time when you really want to figure out that Niche that you're going to go after so you start with something broader because we're going to be making a money making site to make affiliate Revenue primarily so after you have a domain name it's time to think about web hosting and there's hundreds of web hosting companies you can choose from but I like wpx the most because it's hosting specifically for WordPress It's relatively inexpensive it's around 25 a month or 20 a month if you pay for a full year and now to be clear I've been an affiliate for them for the last few years but I'm also a customer and this web hosting it checks all the boxes for me so when you use wpx you don't have to worry about slow load times because they're Built For Speed and Google favors websites that are fast so you get the benefit of better SEO a good user experience reduced bounce rates and more returning visitors I also really love wpx support so they have super fast live chat where you can get a question answered in under 30 seconds which is huge as most web hosting companies make you email them and then wait a day or two or longer to get a response so overall if you're looking for the best WordPress hosting make sure to click the link in the description below and get an offer with wpx so the pricing is a little bit more than like Bluehost Bluehost might be like 5.95 a month but you really get what you pay for here so we can choose a plan usually you can just start with the business plan here for twenty dollars a month and it's up to five websites we'll probably just have one and all of these different features but you to get started all you do is click Start now I'm going to choose this buy now you can say here I already have a website so if you have one from GoDaddy you can put it in there or you're launching a new website then you can select your domain name so if I was to put in like mine.com I can search for it it says it's already taken but if I put in something different like one two three then it's gonna be available order now you can see the period of time one year I'll hit continue and then you can choose your location so wpx also has a built-in CDN they call it like an xdn actually so a CDN is a Content delivery Network so when we think about web hosting and what it actually is in the world wide web it's basically taking your files and folders and images and text and HTML CSS all those files and it lives on a computer somewhere a server and that server location is going to be probably based on where most of your traffic is coming from so if you're from the United States you want to pick the United States that's where people will get your information the fastest but they also have an xdn delivery Network with locations all over the world so then you know you put in you can choose monthly um this was the one I did earlier you can choose monthly earliest 250 or just choose monthly and then they're gonna bill you for the domain itself because we're actually paying for the domain here and then what's due today so you get all this access 24 7 support really good uptime on this you put all your information in that your payment method and then check out now you can see the WordPress installation with wpx is super easy too they offer a one-click install most web hosts do where you basically click a button and it gets you into your WordPress dashboard and you can see that here if you go to manage your WordPress site you just basically click this button under your dashboard it says install WordPress WordPress on website so that's what you do to get into your WordPress dashboard so then every time that you log into WordPress it's going to be yourwebsite.com slash wp-admin that's always the login page so you can get to that and then you have your users and you can log in that way and then you finally get into your WordPress dashboard which will look something like this so you'll get to the dashboard and it's basically a bunch of stuff on the left hand side and then a dashboard in the middle so it's actually really easy to you know navigate and I'm going to go over exactly what each thing is and how how to actually make money with a WordPress site so the first thing that we have to talk about here is your actual WordPress theme so the theme is the layout structure and design of your website and you can find that going to appearance and themes and you can see that we installed the Cadence theme which is one that I actually recommend so Cadence is probably the my favorite WordPress theme it creates you know you have all kinds of different layouts templates you can also use Cadence blocks which is a block editor that gives you all kind of functionality it's great for affiliate sites because you can lay out the content in a unique way create a beautiful looking site with an easy navigational home page and all of that stuff so you can see like some examples with cadence starter templates here here's like a productivity blog this is just a simple layout and it's showing you know you want a main hero image on the home page some tips some links and then you know the blog roll down here so you definitely want to choose Cadence there's it's free and then you can choose Cadence Pro if you want but that's the best one that I would pick and then what you can do is uh you know there's a there's a stock WordPress themes in here and they have there's a WordPress Library area themes but what you can also do is you want to add new you can click that this goes into you know all kinds of different WordPress themes that you can pick from but if you have one that you actually uh downloaded externally like Cadence basically you go to Cadence WP you log in you buy it or get the free version download the zip file and then you just upload it here so you click upload theme click that zip file and then it will load into here and once it's installed then you can click this customize button and that goes to the WordPress you know theme customizer now not every section is here this is our stock sample site here that we created thanks to Eddie B our head blog growth engine coach created this sample site for us to use the cafe man and we have like the home page and some of the layouts here but you can see on the left hand side you can change things like the color and font typography you know what headings how big they are what kind of fonts they use you can do the colors of things you can change all kinds of different stuff headers Footers posts and Page layouts so there's a site identity so that's things like the logo you can change some things in the footer menus all of that so there's a lot of settings in here to kind of like the base structure of the theme but not everything is in here like you know editing post isn't in here but you can choose a lot of different like Broad theme settings in here so that's kind of the first part of you know picking your theme and getting the layout structured now if we look at this site's home page we see that there's a header image here there's some blog posts there's a little three columns thing here and then there's the footer and the bottom footer now this is really easy to edit with cadence so we can see that I go to if I go to um pages in The WordPress dashboard then I go to home and I edit it we can go into the home page editor and this is actually Cadence blocks and we're showing different types of things now you can just choose from a design Library if you want to so you can go into either Pro options if you you know have a pro account Cadence Pro or just you know if you like one of these layouts just select it go to it let's say I like uh this one here with this phone icon features It prepares the content and then it just adds it in so it's like you can edit this stuff easily you can change the dimension the height you can change the text super easily and you can do all that it's just a drag and drop editor super easy to use so you can do that with different sections if you wanted to add more you would just um click this plus button add another section and then you can select the plus and then you can set you know get anything you want so like if I just search for different blocks I can just add different things in here so it's super easy to understand when we're thinking about designing a home page specifically for like an affiliate money making website make it simple don't overthink it you know it's easy to just try to perfect every single Pixel you know and worry about it but really with cadence it's super easy you can just create these kind of Base starter templates and put your you know if you're creating an affiliate site I think it's important to put your face on it you know make people know who you are and then add a few of your affiliate posts and then just create your footer put a copy right there and that's about it next let's talk about installing plugins so plugins you know extend the functionality of your WordPress site so if you're like a small business you could have plugins to create a calendar if you're a salon or some type of appointment scheduler or you can add SEO plugins or site speed plugins or image optimizers so it's really just a set of tools that are very useful and here's the main ones that I recommend so we have Cadence blocks and Cadence starter templates I have that here on the list that's easy to create affiliate list posts we have rank math for SEO that you can submit your sitemap to Google and you can do a lot of SEO settings when you're editing posts their short pixel which optimizes and condenses your images to make you make them smaller good for site speed uh word friends is good for security thirsty Affiliates can categorize and organize all of your affiliate links in one place mammoth.x converter converts Google Docs right into WordPress seamlessly so if you're you know if you have a system in place in your project management or you're getting stuff from a writer in Google Docs you can just automatically transition that to Wordpress and then there's also WP rocket and Link whisper so these are two paid ones that I also recommend now if you want to access your plugins you simply go to plugins and then you can go to add new to add new ones or you can view your installed plugins as well if you want to go to add new you can find ones in here so I can search for like word fence for security we can do that and we see that it comes up here it's already installed now you might say okay how do I find ones like WP rocket is that in here and it's like I can't find it where is it well some of these similar to Wordpress themes you have to upload so if you go to WP rocket which is really good for site speed you automatically add it to your site and then most of the settings are taken care of but you can also find a lot of good articles on Google about like the exact site speed settings for WP rocket that I won't cover in this video but you can find what it actually does you can buy it now it's 59 a year for that license you would buy it and then you get the zip file again and then when you go back you upload that plugin choose the file and you upload it there and then it'll show it under your installed plugin so some of them are off site some of them are in the WordPress plugin you know repository but you can see under here ones that we have on this simple map simple site here so rank math short pixel thirsty Affiliates word fence you can view their settings so if you wanted to go to individual settings like rank math settings you can see that here webmaster tools so you can add Google search console you just verify your site Bing webmaster tools Baidu if you are in another country and then you can connect all your Google services so rank math you can see all the settings in here so it shows up on the left hand side you can also find this just under settings and then some of them might appear in here like short pixels under this settings so you find all these different settings and there's a ton of great articles on Google these like how what's the perfect settings for this plugin but you can see like for example in short pixel we can choose you know resize large images are we going to create backups we can go to more advanced things you know are we going to create webp versions of images I did that on my site where you create not just a JPEG but an even smaller sized image um so they automatically condense upon upload so if we use something like Mammoth docx converter and we have images in the Google Doc and we upload it into WordPress those images are going to be automatically compressed and resized so every plugin has different settings that you can tweak the first one I really want to cover is Cadence blocks and we can actually you know view this in the post editor so when we're doing WordPress we need to cover like the basics here and the basics are how do we edit posts how do we get media in Pages these are like the top three right so posts we have some some sample posts here like the best coffee makers in 2023 and we can see this you go into the uh the post editor and this is what it looks like so you can see this is the title of the article the H1 heading our introduction and you can see see that this is paragraph text if we wanted to change it we could do a heading but we're going to keep it paragraph you can bold italic add links and all of that and then we have an affiliate disclaimer here which is just a simple Cadence block section then we have a table of contents so this is actually a Cadence block so what's great about Cadence blocks is you just basically add all these blocks in choose which type of block you want and then just change the settings over here on the right so you can see that we added a table of contents block and it's pulling in h2h3 and H4 headings into this block and then you can style it however you want so you can change you know the font weight the letter spacing padding border all of that stuff more advanced settings margins Max width you know all that stuff and make it look nice and really this is what it's doing is it's pulling in the h2h3 and H4 headings in this case it's just pulling in the H2 and H3 because that's what it looks like so to create a good layout of a post we can use Cadence blocks and really you don't want to overthink it you know when I first started my blog it was just headings paragraph text and some images that's it so you don't have to you know over complicate it at first but we want to just make it look nice over time but a good affiliate layout for a post like this is Introduction table of contents and then you have your first H2 heading which is based on a Target keyword which we'll cover in this video and then we can have like bulleted lists so if you wanted to create a bulleted list you would go here you could choose the block and you could do list and then you just select that and you can type here if you want to delete a block you click the three buttons and remove list item and then you're good so you have all of this and what we want to do is create the H2 heading with the target keyword within the form of a question and then we have the answers or the actual list items as h3s in a numbered format so this is a really nice layout here and then it goes over the you know this is kind of like assembling content so every single item here is going to be laid out in the same way so we have the H3 heading some introductory text about it and then again we just have another Cadence block section with two columns we added text in we added a button so you can see single button you can but you can link the button wherever you want so you can paste your Amazon affiliate link or thirsty affiliate Link in here you can even add affiliate links to this part as well so to add a thirsty affiliate link you select this and then usually to add a link you would just link this and you type in your url but for thirsty Affiliates you can go down here go to Thirsty Affiliates and then you would search for it like a coffee maker and that link will appear once you edit it and I'll show you thirsty Affiliates in a second but basically you have this your top picks your button you lay it out this way you have your image and then you just move on to the next one so you have another one here with the H3 H3 heading intro text this section and what's great is you just copy paste copy paste copy paste and get all of this information in the exact same format and then you summarize with another H2 heading and you added your summary so this is a really simple and good layout for an affiliate post and all it is is Cadence blocks now you can see when you select anywhere in this post you can view the block itself on the right hand sidebar over here you can see that or you can just the whole post if you want to edit anything post wide you can change that too so for example what category is the blog post in so if you have multiple you're in a niche and you have multiple you know categories for your posts you can add new categories by clicking this or you can choose the category that it's in I never really mess with tags too much that isn't really a factor in WordPress anymore and then here's where you add your featured image so you can add your image here from your media library this is all the images on the site and then you can add your featured image I could set it as this I'm not going to save it and then you know you can replace it so choose whichever featured image you want you also want it to be kind of the right Dimension So based on you know Cadence theme and what it looks like make sure that your featured image is the right dimensions do you allow comments and all of that stuff so that's uh some of it in a nutshell now another interesting thing in WordPress is all of these buttons at the top here so this little settings button you can click it on and off to remove that right hand sidebar you can go to the post you can also see rank math here so you can view the focus keyword add that in so for this one it is best coffee makers that's the target keyword for this article we have it in the form of a heading with everyone loves the list so always you know create your posts around list formats odd numbers always work better at the beginning for some reason and then you can add extra words here uh which we call like search intent trigger words to get people to click the article and you can look at you know competition to base that but you add the focus keyword and then you have some basic SEO settings you can get a lot more with the pro version uh it'll give you like keywords to add and all that they also have a new feature called content AI here that you put your focus keyword and you hit research and it gives you a score so it tells you it's kind of like Surfer SEO so it does the same thing as server SEO so you can use either one of those tools because Surfer SEO has a WordPress plugin that you can use while you're editing as well but it gives you like a score how well is this optimized for SEO when you're writing this so here's the word count how many links headings and then it gives you you know what keywords you should add in here so these are like the main keywords best coffee makers all of that and then it gives you related these are like semantic keywords so things like Bravo Precision Brewer pros and cons picking or buying options so once you add all this stuff in it gives you a score so you just want to get the higher score for better SEO so ultimately if you can use Google Docs for Microsoft Word you can edit a WordPress site it's the same kind of content you add sections paragraph text you know bold headings numbered lists add links it's very easy and then when you're done you just want to make sure that you click the update button and that will update and publish your post so next let's talk about adding affiliate links into these posts so as we see this is what the post looks like the three best coffee makers very basic just kind of sample site layout but we have all of these so then we would want all of these links to be affiliate links if we want to start making money with this WordPress site now if you you know if you know I teach this a lot especially my free master class which is linked below we don't want to always just blast all affiliate links onto this article before we have any traffic that's not the most effective use of our time however to add affiliate links we can use a tool like thirsty Affiliates so we go to Thirsty Affiliates and it's super simple so in our sunglasses article we have actually added a link for Ray-Bans the Ray-Ban clubmaster metal Square sunglasses now you can see this would be where you add your content into thirsty Affiliates so let's say we have a new affiliate link that we want to add so we join the you know Amazon Associates affiliate program we log in I have another video on you know Amazon affiliate marketing exactly how to make money with that but we grab our link and then once we have the link we create it here and we paste it in so then you paste the affiliate link here paste it here so that'll be your unique URL and then you name it whatever you want so you name it you know the name of the product so like the Revel um what was that called the Breville Precision Brewer and then you can categorize it so this is important so if it's a coffee maker or something like that you can categorize the link under coffee makers or like for example my site has a bunch of different software categories so it might be like webinar software category email marketing software and what the categories do is you can actually view the data within reporting in thirsty Affiliates I don't always find it to be 100 accurate but you can view it differently so it's always good to categorize and organize this stuff so then you've pasted your affiliate link you save the link you want to know follow the link yes and you want it to open in a new window yes and you can actually change this in the in the settings of thirsty Affiliates to make sure that it always just automatically starts with that so you can do uh you know link appearance so you can make it so that it hits recommends so for example if we go to this link and it's uh you know.com and we say that it'll make it this your website's name.com slash recommends slash Breville precisionbrewer so it cleans up the links it makes them look a lot nicer as well and you can see in the settings that you can do don't use no follow-on link so you can change this to yes open a new window yes you want to do that so you can save those changes but what's really nice is once you have a bunch of affiliate links and you want to add and edit the posts all you have to do is always make sure that you choose the Thirsty affiliate link when you're editing a post so you would add it to that button you add the actual thirsty affiliate link into the content and then if you if the link changes because sometimes affiliate programs change you would just go to your affiliate links click on this one change the actual destination URL to the new updated affiliate link and then site-wide it will change it on every single instance that you added it so that's really the main benefit of this is that you're not adding it adding affiliate links individually each and every single time but you're adding it once and then you can always update and change the links later all right so let's go back to the main word press dashboard and then let's look at something called permalinks which is under settings so there's a lot of different settings we want to have here so we talked about posts we talked about appearance themes and your plugins and all of that let's talk about settings so there's a lot of random settings here in WordPress so one we want to talk about is permalinks so permalinks is the structure of how all your posts and pages are laid out on your site so the best format for that is going to a custom structure and just doing post name so that means that it'll be your wet domain.com and then in our example it was best coffee makers so we don't want a bunch of random stuff before that post structure it's the best possible structure for SEO and it's just using post name so that's what it looks like custom structure and then you write it like this so this is the way to do it so this slash thing percentagey thing and then post name and then another one of those percentages so that's how you do it and that's the best structure that'll give you the best structure for SEO and there's also other settings like general settings so you can you know what is your site called what's the site title and tagline uh what's the time zone the date format writing and reading settings so when we look at those we can see you know nothing really much to change there we go to reading this is one really major factor here so this will be selected so like we want to make sure that when we are ready to launch our site live we turn this off and just not having discourage engines from indexing so we want to make sure that that's off we hit save there's a lot of other settings here media settings privacy settings these don't default image sizes for you know things like that and privacy settings but you know a lot of it is just pretty easy to use with some other interesting thing in WordPress is the media library so when we add images into WordPress we don't want to add Giant images you know two megapixel huge images that are then condensed down into our blog post we want to add images that are basically the width of the blog post itself so let's say it's like 750 pixels wide well they wouldn't want images any wider than that so if you're on Mac you can use like a simple image editor to take screenshots from the internet to get royalty-free images from like Adobe stock or pixels or unsplash or even AI image generators like dolly or whatever you want to use and then get them down can you know make sure that dimensions are locked and then get it down to this right size and then you upload it into the media library and what's interesting is there's a couple different ways to do this so everything in the media library is not necessarily just going to be added into the blog this is you know none of this stuff um will actually be in any posts or Pages until you pull it into the actual poster page so this is kind of the central repository of where everything is but you want to give your images a name so you know um you want to give it an ALT name and you also want to give it a file name so what's interesting is when you use a Google doc to Wordpress converter you can have you name the image on your computer so let's say I downloaded an image of this coffee maker and I called it coffee maker.jpg and I added that uploaded it into Google Docs as coffeemaker.jpg when I then converted that from Google Docs into WordPress it will automatically be called coffee maker jpeg in the you know in the file name and the URL and it will be uploaded and compressed by short pixel and then we want to give it some alternate text so whatever the brand of this coffee maker is we want to give it that alt text and then edit it and save it that way so everything in the media library isn't necessarily automatically on the site we have to add it to the media library first and then add it to a post or page after so when we talk about you know a money making website and an affiliate site that's going to make us actual money a WordPress site that's profitable we don't need a million Pages we need a lot of posts to eventually make money but we only need what I teach is the four core pages of a WordPress site so first is you know there's the about page which is just about you so you want to tell a story of who you are why you're creating this blog so we have just a simple you know layout here this is just with cadence blocks as well basic setup but you don't need anything too fancy we don't want to brag too much this is actually where like you want to be a vulnerable share who you are why you created your blog and just get your audience to know you and you can add that to the menu then there's of course the home page which we covered a home page should be really a two like if someone looks at the homepage in two seconds they should kind of know what the site's about we don't have every piece of information on the home page it's more or less just kind of an introduction to the site with some basic links so that's kind of a simple one to create too when you create that with cadence blocks and then we also have our blog role so we have a Blog archive page which is edited and this is how you know your blog posts are laid out you want a two column one column the blog archive and then just the individual blog post layout so what that looks like and we can see that some of these things are over here on the right hand side so we have the the post here on the left and then it's like what is this live where are these things on the right hand side where do all these little random pieces live that aren't posts they're not Pages they're like Footers they're left-hand side things all of that that actually lives within um appearance widgets so if you go to appearance widgets widgets are things that live on the site but aren't necessarily poster pages so if you see here there's sidebar one which we can see here and we have that edited here it looks a little bit strange but you can see that all of this is edited within widgets so you can see like there's a lot of different different Footers here there's inactive widgets active widgets so you can see there's different ones for categories archives recent comments but basically you know you look at these different things and you're editing it and you're basically just pasting it in how you want it so that's actually where that lives is within widgets so as we covered the general post layout that you want for your site is an SEO optimized title based on a Target keyword sidebar is optional so you've seen sites that are full width some have a sidebar if you want to add like calls to action and things maybe to join the email list and stuff like that a featured image a byline with date so sometimes these themes will give you like you upload update the post and it'll say post last updated and then gives you a date or you can add another plugin called WP last modified info and that will automatically add those updated dates into your posts intro paragraphs table of contents so people can easily scan this stuff um an intro body content H2 and H3 headings for your you know list posts affiliate boxes where necessary you don't need them at first but if you want to make it look nicer you can add them and then a summary so that's the general post layout that we want to use on WordPress for affiliate posts so we've covered a lot of things in WordPress how to create post pages settings it's pretty simple it's not that difficult the difficult part is how do we make money so let's actually dive into how to make a lot of money with our site so what are we going to write about well first we have to know how to uncover niches that make us money so we can write about anything under the sun I typically recommend we don't always start with our passion like is typically taught but we want to find things that we can extract value from the market and make money and to do this it starts with keywords so it starts with we have to go where the fish are what people are actually searching for online things that have search volume and can actually make us money the best tool for that is hrefs so ahrefs is a tool where we can find keywords we can track our website it's a great SEO tool probably the best one out there so how do we do this well we would use the keyword Explorer and we would look for keywords that there's a couple different types of posts that any Blog has there's two so the first one is transactional posts so people are looking for different things to buy so for example the this uh The Verge article is the best gaming laptops in 2023 so best signifies search intent of buying something so if you search for best gaming laptop that user on Google is looking for a comparison of the best options and that's where blogs come in blogs and these money making WordPress sites are mediators between a purchase a search and a purchase so we get they have this information and it's you know you can see it's laid out the same they have some ads on this one but it's best gaming laptops and then heading with these affiliate links in here so they have different ones or there's something like this on money.com which is the best crypto wallets so you see they have a bunch of columns here so it looks a little bit different uh you know this is actually kind of nice they have the different chart comparisons and then they get into the content you can see this is full width there's not a sidebar this has the introduction paragraph and they have their top picks kind of the bulleted list we could create with cadence blocks as well this is actually interesting so this is super in-depth kind of article here but you can see number one coinbase download it pros and cons why they chose it the intro and then all of these are affiliate links going to them or they could be promotional you know sponsorship links where they're actually getting paid but we see that so we also see something like the best outdoor basketball shoes durability and performance so another any product in the world that is being searched for with the term best will have blog posts ranking for it and making affiliate commissions on the amount of money you can make is based on the price of the product how much traffic you get and the commission right so there's the three variables there so higher priced products with higher commission rates will make you more money those are also probably more competitive so we have to find the unique angle for you to make money on WordPress and where we find that is with ahref so that's the initial entry point so let's put in the word best now let's think of a different Niche so if you're like an outdoor Enthusiast you could say cycling now best cycling by itself isn't really a search people don't search that way right but we want to use the matching terms tool and this is including every keyword that includes his best and cycling so we can see cycling shoes sunglasses shorts glasses and then it has a keyword difficulty score how hard it is to rank for so let's look at this one actually looks pretty good best cycling gloves it has a difficulty of 19 pretty good search volume Global volume of 3400 searches a month you can see there's a lot of volatility in the top 10 ranking sites and then when we go down to the list here's the top 10 sites that are ranking so what's good is what we want to look for is a low Authority site ranking on page one because that means we probably might be able to too we don't want to see like this entire first page that's dominated by media sites and Dr 90 sites like Forbes New York Times seeing a tech radar whatever it is but we see here there's a domain rating three site restoration.bike which is ranking and if we look at that article they have an article on the top 13 best cycling gloves for hand numbness interesting so they have these lists and you can see these are all Amazon affiliate links if I click in here you know these are 40 gloves and we can see that they're making money with affiliate marketing in that way and they have a domain rating of three they probably have like barely any backlinks to their website but they're still ranking for it so that's a good example we can also do this with like any Niche so I could do like best fishing and I could look at the matching terms tool and I can see that there's all kinds of articles I could write in that Niche like the best fishing kayaks is an interesting one fishing lines uh sunglasses not so we could do camping best camping and we can find things that aren't that difficult so best air mattress for camping best camping mattresses best camping food sleeping bags tents all kinds of stuff even like software you can see how competitive software is because if you look at that you see most of these are in the red because it's really difficult I rank for some of these but they're a lot more competitive but we can see like crypto tax software beat making software isn't as competitive so we get to stand to see like what stuff makes money with this best comparison list post by putting golf is an easy one clubs shoes balls basically when you create a WordPress site that makes money you have two types of Articles like I said the best of transactional posts that's the first half so if you have a golf blog you would write uh articles on the best drivers Putters chip chipper chippers sandwiches range finders GPS things all the products that people use in that Niche because if you're talking about golf people use products the other half of the equation is how to so people are looking for information and how to do things so if I put in how to golf how to golf it's kind of broad but if I do that you see all this is what I would write if I had a golf blog for informational content how to hold a golf club swing grip hit play clean watch so those are the two types best and how to those are the only related to types of posts you need for a WordPress site to make money now you can't do just best because then you're just an affiliate blog that only writes best posts so and you can't write only how to post because then you're not really going to make much affiliate Revenue so you need a mixture of two blanketing your Niche to become a topical Authority so we can do a 50 50 split to test things out I would recommend maybe even doing more how-to and informational content a little bit less transactional but there's a whole structure of doing that so it's really a matter of blanketing the niche becoming an expert in something choosing a broad domain name at first because it's a little bit more difficult if you if you just go too narrow and then you're kind of stuck in your pigeonholed so it's more important to test and try things you know go a little bit broader there's a lot of sites like for example the fishing one so if I said best fishing I probably wouldn't name my site anything related to phishing it would be more outdoor related because then if I write about phishing 10 articles and there's not really working but then I write one about hiking camping or hunting or archery then those might take off and remember to create a huge affiliate site that makes you a lot of money on WordPress we're eventually going to want to have 10 articles 20 50 over the course of a year 100 like so we want to get it to a point where we can create a ton of content we're not in a tiny Niche but we need to start thinking about this so what are you good at what kind of experience do you have personally and professionally what are your hobbies and then what can you talk about and write say 50 to 100 articles on where you wouldn't get bored with it you wouldn't quit and you would just keep going so the key here is one YouTube video on a WordPress tutorial isn't going to give you all of the information to do this so really above all else just get started you know if you haven't created a website for yourself I recommend you do I created my site adaminfo.com at first it was just like a digital resume maybe something I would use in my career then I took my affiliate experience as an affiliate manager my WordPress and SEO experience working in the tech world and I turned it into something that actually started to make money and then I started making a lot of money it was just because I actually put it as my name and I didn't quit doing it and I was consistent so really you just want to get started ASAP and it's all about progress over over Perfection the great thing about creating a WordPress site is it is an infinitely pivotal and updatable asset you can update posts Pages you can change what you say on the home page you can update posts you can delete posts if they don't work you can test and try different sub niches until you pivot and pivot and pivot and find what works for you and that's the key finding something that works for you in WordPress so if you're interested in learning more exactly how I make 100 000 a month with my blog four hundred thousand How to Create AI Tools in WordPress in 5 Minutes

ENTIRE TRANSCRIPT

hi friends in this video I will show you how to create an AI tool using Wordpress something really special let me show you what to expect so this is my website level hassan.com and you know it's a WordPress website and here is my sample tool a store generator so I will enter a topic for example about friendship generate story it will load and here we are we have a small short story AI generated story and we can copy it and use it before we start if you are wondering and asking why should I add an online tool and especially an AI tool to your WordPress website short answer in three words massive website growth if you want to learn more about this you can check my full post in description below how online tools help me reach 1 million visit per month anyway let's start and build our AI tool with WordPress so you can see here is my website I will go now to my dashboard step one is to install a plugin so simply go go here to plugins then add a new and simply search for WP code in my case it's activated you can see so simply go here to code Snippets and click on ADD snippet I will create a blank snippet as your own and you snippet and I will call it for example story generator tool anything you want AI story generator the second step is go here and select PHP snippet and simply here paste this function don't worry I will give you all the codes you just copy and paste just focus on the concept now and follow up with me simply go here set to active and save snippet make sure it's set here to run everywhere so step one done step number two go back to your dashboard go to pages and click on add a new page this page will hold our AI tool now in my case I will be using a page build like Elementor in your case you can use whatever page builder you want I am comfortable with Elementor and now that page builder will open and here we are simply drag and drop a heading and I will call it my new AI tool to Center and you can change the styling whatever you want and of course you can go back here and add another heading like a subheading and select H3 for example and this is H1 you can add a simple description like this is a story generator powered by AI so there's a subheading we are done we have the tool now I click on publish and then I will open my page and this is my new AI tool page step 3 page and add custom HTM and so simply H tml and add HTML code here below simply now we are going to create our tool if you go back to our main tool we have simply an input box we have a button and we have this text area where we see the output and this copy button again don't worry we're not going to code anything I will give you the code just to copy and paste it here we are I'll paste the code and you can see here it's simple HTML we have input box a button and we have the result container a copy button and some styling CSS styling as I mentioned don't worry you just need to paste the code and by the way I didn't write any single line of these codes I simply ask charging PT I want an AI tool I want an input box a button and generate the full code this is why I tell you always it's very important to learn these new skills prompt engineering and how to talk and interact with language models especially with charging PT you can generate code this will open the door on infant opportunities the next step is we want to connect this interface this HTML code with our function here that generates the story so what we are going to do simply is add some JavaScript code like this this code will allow you to get the topic from the user and then pass to our PHP function here it's that simple anyway I click on update now and let's go here refresh the page and now we have the tool let's enter something for example sharing is carrying generate story and here we are we got our story generator tool now what if you want to create something different maybe you want to create a tool that generates block title ideas generate code maybe generate paragraphs articles I don't know depending on your website Niche and what topic you are in for example right now I'm developing this tool the YouTube title generator tool it's not yet published it will be soon for example I will tell it about email marketing tricks generate titles and now this tool will generate some catchy video titles you can see here they can also copy that them and use in their own videos so you have infinite possibilities you can create unlimited number of tools for example if you go here to my website free AI kit I think you know it if you are following this website allows you to create free AI tools you can see we have a lot of tools block generators long tail keyword python code generator block title generator a lot of generators so we have a lot of ideas so you can do whatever you want so how we can edit this tool to generate whatever you want let's take a look on the code if you go here to JavaScript you will see it's simply getting the topic from the user we get a topic and we are calling our PHP function let's go back to our PHP function to understand it simply this function is calling open AI API to generate text so don't forget you need to get your API key how simply when you go to open Ai and sign up you can go to account slash API keys and create a new key anyway you paste your key here and then and simply you can change the prompt you can see the prompt we are passing the topic from the user with our prompt for example let's generate five block titles about a topic let's update but let's say email marketing tricks generate and here we are we have five titles or block titles based on this topic so it's very simple you just need to change this prompt here and this is why it's very important to learn how to craft the best prompts and this is what I teach in my full prompt engineering course how to create the best prompts and how to automate things and much more you can check it in description below if you are interested if you found this video helpful please smash the like button and don't forget the full guide detailed scripts codes everything and description below see you soon

A guide to improving your existing business application of artificial intelligence

What is Artificial Intelligence and how does it work? What are the 3 types of AI?

What is Artificial Intelligence and how does it work? What are the 3 types of AI? The 3 types of AI are: General AI: AI that can perform all of the intellectual tasks a human can. Currently, no form of AI can think abstractly or develop creative ideas in the same ways as humans.  Narrow AI: Narrow AI commonly includes visual recognition and natural language processing (NLP) technologies. It is a powerful tool for completing routine jobs based on common knowledge, such as playing music on demand via a voice-enabled device.  Broad AI: Broad AI typically relies on exclusive data sets associated with the business in question. It is generally considered the most useful AI category for a business. Business leaders will integrate a broad AI solution with a specific business process where enterprise-specific knowledge is required.  How can artificial intelligence be used in business? AI is providing new ways for humans to engage with machines, transitioning personnel from pure digital experiences to human-like natural interactions. This is called cognitive engagement.  AI is augmenting and improving how humans absorb and process information, often in real-time. This is called cognitive insights and knowledge management. Beyond process automation, AI is facilitating knowledge-intensive business decisions, mimicking complex human intelligence. This is called cognitive automation.  What are the different artificial intelligence technologies in business? Machine learning, deep learning, robotics, computer vision, cognitive computing, artificial general intelligence, natural language processing, and knowledge reasoning are some of the most common business applications of AI.  What is the difference between artificial intelligence and machine learning and deep learning? Artificial intelligence (AI) applies advanced analysis and logic-based techniques, including machine learning, to interpret events, support and automate decisions, and take actions.  Machine learning is an application of artificial intelligence (AI) that provides systems the ability to automatically learn and improve from experience without being explicitly programmed.  Deep learning is a subset of machine learning in artificial intelligence (AI) that has networks capable of learning unsupervised from data that is unstructured or unlabeled.  What are the current and future capabilities of artificial intelligence? Current capabilities of AI include examples such as personal assistants (Siri, Alexa, Google Home), smart cars (Tesla), behavioral adaptation to improve the emotional intelligence of customer support representatives, using machine learning and predictive algorithms to improve the customer’s experience, transactional AI like that of Amazon, personalized content recommendations (Netflix), voice control, and learning thermostats.  Future capabilities of AI might probably include fully autonomous cars, precision farming, future air traffic controllers, future classrooms with ambient informatics, urban systems, smart cities and so on.  To know more about the scope of artificial intelligence in your business, please connect with our expert.
