Title of the project

New sustainable methodologies for the recovery of substances with food, pharmaceutical and/or cosmetic interest: use of natural eutectic solvents (NADES) and fluids in the sub- and supercritical state (C0₂, water)

Aims of the project

The aim of this PhD thesis is the use of new methodologies that respond to the principles of green chemistry and so aim at the sustainability of analytical procedures. These innovative techniques will be used for the extraction of bioactive substances from agri-food industry by-products, embracing the principle of the circular economy and therefore aiming to reduce the impact of this biomass on the environment.
