Title of the project
Applied research and experimental development of a new generation of shading nets made out of plastic material for crops protection.
Aims of the project
The aim of PhD project is to deepen the research of products able to determine a selective filtering of solar radiation, as well as air and incoming rainwater, proactively helping to regulate the microclimate in confined environments for plant breeding. The types of networks available on the market for climate and biological control of crops are not currently the subject of a specific preparative design phase to their implementation. They are produced on the basis of general indications, such as chemical formulation (basic polymer, additives, etc.), geometric (texture, etc.) and radiometric (colour, etc.) characteristics.
