Title of the project

Underutilised wood species in Italy for particleboards manufacture

Aims of the project

The PhD thesis is focused on the realization of an eco-friendly and lower cost particleboard made from oak and orange residues, obtaining the right synergy between bio-adhesive and wood residues, and on the optimization of the ratio between oak and orange particles in order to obtain good mechanical and physical properties of boards. The support of this research will help to gain the best advantages from the local wood resources available.
