One of the most interesting sites to visit in Nevada is the Hoover Dam. This concrete arch-gravity dam is on the Colorado River, between Nevada and Arizona. It took 5 years to build (1931-1936) It was originally called Boulder Dam but was renamed after Herbert Hoover, the 31st U.S. President.
