Average film has 3 acts, 10 scenes per act, 3 minutes per scene, 1 1/2 to 3 pages of script per scene.
Formula for shooting a conversation
EST WS - show who's there, location, country, weather, time of day, local culture.
MS - Who's doing the talking?
OS - Where are they looking? Who are they talking to?
CU - Focusing on conversation, character emotion.
ECU - High tension moment, reactions.
WS - Resolution, wrap up the scene.

Selecting the right crew
When selecting crew, you would request a demo reel and CV from:

Script Supervisor
Production Sound Manager
Editor
Or ask if they have any formal training
Considerations:
Do they have a good attitude to work?
Can they take direction?
Can they think independently?
Are they a good communicator?
Are they okay with sharing their creativity?
Are they good at managing their time?
Do they have a positive attitude?
Do they respond well to feedback and pressure?
What are their strengths and which roles will suit those strengths?
