What? So what? Now what?

I started importing the animation back in to Unreal but ran into a slight issue with the proportions. For some reason the metahuman asset's limbs would stretch out slightly with the animation applied to it. Eventually I found this could be fixed by setting the "Retarget Source Asset" of the animation data to the same asset that the metahuman model is based on.

I continued to import the animation into the Unreal project but began running into preformance issues. My GPU has only 8GB of VRAM however our project was using more than that. I asked Harry to move the environment files out of the master scene and into the sublevels so I could turn off parts of the environment I didn't need to save on performance. Once he had done that, I was able to continue importing and placing the animation into the scene where it needed to be and worked towards creating a new animatic within Unreal Engine. This went on into the next week.
