Build A Snowman

During Snowpocalypse 2025, I felt very antsy in my house and decided I wanted to go outside and do something in the snow with my friends. I decided to contact all the people I knew who lived close to my location and while ultimately, only one person was able to come (two were sick, and the other had already gone outside in the morning), we had a lot of fun building a snowman, especially because it was the first time for both of us.

We went to a grassy field covered by snow, and with the knowledge bequeathed upon us from watching American cartoons in our youth (eg. Frosty the Snowman), we quickly figured out how to roll a snowball. It really wasn't that complicated and I was surprised at how easily the snow gathered.

We made the base of the snowman as large as we could roll it, and the middle section as large as we could carry it. Then, we went back to our homes to get carrots and nuts for the buttons, which was poor planning on our part, but it was a short walk. 

I really enjoyed this experience because I was able to do something with a friend that I had never done before.

LO5: We wanted to make the snowman as large as we could, and the only limiting factor was our combined strength. By working together, we were able to roll the base of the snowman as large as we could, and make the middle section as large as we could carry it together.
