The Inktober challenge spreads across the internet every year in the month of October. It's premise is: thirty-one days, thirty-one prompts, and thirty-one drawings created in ink.
A: To consistently practice and draw for a whole month.
C: I had to draw to a prompt every day with my own interpretation and style.
T: There isn't much planning needed, but I brought my favorite pens to school to draw with during excess time.
I: I participated in Inktober last year and am well familiar with its rules. I had to search up reference sometimes for some drawings though.
V: I got to practice drawing with black ink; usually, I don't draw at all due to time constraints and focusing on other duties, but with Inktober, I was able to get myself to dedicate time to drawing.
E: Engagement is part of Inktober; drawing is no light task, and I had to think about the purpose and effects of every stroke I made.
LO4: I had to commit to a whole month of daily drawing, even when I had very little excess time. Sometimes, my drawings were simple and took mere minutes; other times, they were able to take much more.
1) A bed is the sacred place where one sleeps, and where one Dreams. 2) We had a Spider the other day in TOK, and got inspired by that. 3) It's a mossy and flowered stone Path. The dots were tedious to place. 4) I'm alright at drawing dragons, so I tried my best to draw one Dodging. 5) It's the map of an original world I made. 6) Golden ratio and shell. 7) Dripstone. 8) Toadstool. 9) Ball that Bounces off a toadstool. 10) Lots of coins mean great Fortune, right? I drew this without sketching. 11) The ball that bounced off the toadstool has Wandered into a pile of coins. 12) When dragons eat Spicy food, they breathe fire. 13) Let the music Rise into the air. I also drew this without sketching, but my violin was right next to me. 14) It's an old and crumbled Castle. 15) A simple Dagger is boring so I made it stab into the paper with some POV-work. 16) Biblically accurate Angel? You can see that I'm far more comfortable drawing the right wings than the left. 17) The Demon of the Tree of Life took the form of a lowly snake. 18) It'd be uncreative to draw just a Saddle, so I drew it's Chinese character. 19) The plushy I have at home is very Plump. 20) The edges of the paper have been Frosted over in verglas. 21) Since it's a cold place, why not draw some icy Chains? 22) And since these iced chains are a bit rough, someone accidentally Scratched their hand on it. 23) The three symbols of the Celestial sky: the sun, moon, and stars. 24) The moon reflects upon a Shallow pond. A man near the rock exclaims, there is a big rock in the pond! But, why can't I touch it? 25) A ravine is Dangerous. Don't fall in! 26) But it'd become less dangerous if were were to Remove it from existence with witeout. 27) There's a Beast in the ravine! One with crimson tentacles! 28) What else twinkles and Sparkles, but stars? 29) Whales are Massive. 30) Water floods and Rushes out from beneath the whale. But if I could, I would've drawn Evan Rushing. 31) A slate of stone is on Fire.
